This project represents an independent course homework, designed to involve students in real-world data science challenges through Kaggle competitions. The Claims Management system focuses on predicting claim approvals based on various customer and policy attributes.
Through extensive feature engineering, model tuning, and ensemble techniques, we were able to achieve significant results. Took a lot of effort to drop the error below 0.43, which represents a substantial improvement over baseline models.
The project demonstrates practical applications of machine learning in the insurance industry, where accurate predictions can lead to more efficient operations and improved customer satisfaction.
